4 Day Holidays in Malham

These run from Monday evening to Friday. Arrive at the Listers Arms on the Monday and check in for your evening meal and B&B. Tuesday morning will see you down on the yard fresh for riding after a hearty breakfast.

When booking the holiday you can book the blend of riding that will most suit you. YDTC has enough varied treks to give you a great way to explore the Dales on horseback with hardly a need to retrace steps. For experienced riders we can organise 4 different day trails branching out to different parts of Malhamdale and beyond. Our trails can take in stops at Airton, Arnecliffe, Hetton, Kilnsey and Settle so you can sample a whole wealth of scenery and still have something else to come back another year to see!

Less experienced riders may prefer to build up to such long days in the saddle by choosing some shorter treks from our trekking menu. Lessons can also be included. These focus on balance, relaxation & building solid relationships with your horse which will give you a way of applying your riding aids in a way that truly makes horse sense.

Although the holiday allows for 4 days in the saddle, if you chose to take a ½ day break form riding there are many wonderful walks from Malham and market towns, Settle and Skipton are just a short drive away.
